Learn how to apply the skills from your major to develop community innovation systems, focusing on improving local and regional growth, resilience, and quality of life. You'll engage in hands-on, project-based learning with students from other disciplines and mentorship from leaders across sectors.
With this minor, you'll gain a deep understanding of how organizations and partnerships shape economic, educational, and socio-political conditions that drive innovation. Supported by experienced faculty, you’ll develop skills in critical thinking, teamwork, and strategic communication to lead community change, especially in rural areas.
