Ethan Orr
Bio
Ethan Orr has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Arizona since 2003. Currently, he is the Assistant Vice President for Government Partnerships and Community Relations for the University of Arizona. Previously, he has served in senior leadership positions for both the City of Tucson and the City of South Tucson. He established the Pima County Empowerment Zone, which generated over $500 million in incentives and helped revitalize downtown. He ran a statewide non-profit annually helping over 1000 people with disabilities find employment and started a business helping ex-offenders transition into the workforce. He also represented Southern Arizona in the State Legislature, while there he passed numerous bills included creating the Mental Health First Aid Program and establishing commercial spaceflight in Arizona. He has been married for 19 years and has three wonderful children.
