Funding is often near the top of graduate students’ list of needs. Students can get funding in a variety of ways, from research assistantships to stipends to fellowships, and more.
Graduate Assistantships
Students applying to the M.S. Agricultural Education Research Emphasis are eligible to apply for a graduate assistantship (GA) for funding support and work experience. The GA application is separate from the admissions application — please plan to submit your GA application before February 1.
Awards & Stipends
A variety of awards are available through the University of Arizona Graduate College.
Scholarships and Grants
Graduate degree students are encouraged to seek funding through sources such as Fulbright grants and College of Agriculture, Life & Environmental Science scholarships. Small grants may also be available through Scholarship Universe.
Federal student aid (FAFSA)
Many scholarships and other funding opportunities require FAFSA completion.
